Still waiting for update...
Personally, I think it could do WAY better. When I first saw this, I thought it would do perfectly. The fade-out, fade-in effects... equal positioning on either side... Samus being used instead of, say, a little floating dot...

Dang. Was I wrong.

Well, at least you got the object to go through the doors and into the next room. Now to make it more like a Metroid transition.

I'm working on a Metroid Room Transition that actually looks good. It will be MUCH harder to understand, but once you do, it's very simple.
